When SPRINT Fits

You're a new CEO inheriting complexity.

You took the role recently. The strategy you inherited may or may not be right. Your team is watching to see what you'll do. Before you commit to a direction, you need clarity on what's actually working, what's broken, and what you've inherited that's already out of date.

Your team faces a real decision and disagrees on the answer.

An acquisition. A product line to drop. A new market. A divestiture. The leadership team is split, the data isn't conclusive, and the meeting keeps ending without a decision. You need a structured way to surface the real disagreement and test the choice before it's made.

You suspect your strategy is out of date but can't yet say where.

The world shifted. The plan didn't. You feel it more than see it: results are softer than they should be, the team is busier than ever, and decisions are getting harder to make. You need a fast diagnosis of what's still true, what's no longer true, and what to do about it.

The Rhythm

Four weeks. Four working sessions. One direction.

SPRINT runs in a four-week cadence with structured working sessions roughly one week apart. Between sessions, you keep running your business while I do the analytical work that shapes the next conversation.

Week 1

Diagnose

I meet with you and the leadership team to understand the situation as you see it. We surface what's known, what's assumed, and what's unspoken.

Week 2

Frame

We name the real problem in language the team can act on. We map the strategic choices and the trade-offs each one carries.

Week 3

Test

We pressure-test the leading choice. What would have to be true for it to work? Where does the logic break? What's the cost of being wrong?

Week 4

Synthesize

You leave with a clear problem statement, a tested strategic direction, and a CEO-level summary that the leadership team can act on.

What You Get

Five deliverables. One package.

SPRINT produces a defined set of artifacts you can use the moment the engagement ends. Each one is built for the leadership team to act on, not for a binder.

1

The Real Problem Statement

One paragraph that names what you're actually trying to solve. Distilled from the leadership team's input but more honest than what most teams write themselves.

2

Strategy Cascade (As-Is)

A clear map of the strategy you're actually running, not the one you wrote down. Surfaces gaps between intent and execution.

3

Business Model Canvas v1

A first-pass view of how the business creates and captures value. Useful for board conversations and for stress-testing assumptions before deeper work.

4

Priority Uncertainties

The three to five uncertainties that most affect the strategic choice ahead. Not every uncertainty matters equally. These are the ones that do.

5

CEO Summary

A short, signed document that captures the diagnosis, the choices, and the recommended direction. Designed to be shared with the board, the team, or kept as your own reference.

SPRINT is not a 30-day strategy build.

It's clarity on what to build. SPRINT names the real problem, frames the strategic choice, and tests the leading direction. Building the full validated strategy with a 12-month operating plan is what BUILD does.

If you need a faster diagnostic before committing to deeper work, that's PRIME. If you already know your strategy is right and need execution discipline, that's SYSTEM.

What SPRINT Isn't

Ready to clarify the real problem?

SPRINT is the engagement for teams ready to do the work but unsure where to start. The Fit Call is where we figure out if SPRINT is the right entry point.
